'Vizier of Damascus returns from his wanderings with a beautiful free EP offering his trademark textures, interwoven moods and cryptically driven percussion. Crypt EP is a welcome companion to the ever sought after Badshahi (as released on Rednetic Recordings 2005). There has been a hiatus of late regarding Arfan Ezra Munir Rai, whilst he has been away with Philosophy teaching and sound design commissions. Nevertheless, after ongoing projects for Globe Trekker, the Wildlife Trust and the CERN Laboratory Geneva, a range of Arfan's newly acquired acoustic and electronic kit feature within this EP.
